Biography
For Baptiste W. Hamon, French chanson and American country also meet in a Stockholm studio. In the other cottage at Kvastis, he recorded his interpretations of American country classics with Tom Skantze — one of many recording projects to have taken place on the property.
Released on 10 April 2026, Townes and I pairs La ballade de Pancho & Lefty with Si j’étais perdue, his French version of If I Needed You featuring Philémon Cimon.
It is through the work at Kvastis that Baptiste belongs to our Friends & Family circle. The songs have American roots and French words; our shared history lies in the recordings made here in Sweden.
